I have been in the cleaning industry for 6 years, and when I first started out I worked for nearly every Real Estate agency in Ballarat on a subcontracted basis, but most were not very organised with their time so unfortunately for them I was not someone that kept working for them. But this gave me an insight into their expectations, which is quite high when you are the one leaving your tenancy. If you are a landlord that buys a property or rents it out the standard that you move into is sadly not the standard that is expected of you when you vacate. As the law states the landlord can rent it out in a 'reasonable' state, but for a renter you must leave it better than what you moved into it. You know as you probably moved into a house that has not had the windows cleaned for years! Most people do not realise too that they can complain at the bad state a house is in when they move in, most Real Estates hire cleaners so someone could come to clean your house before you move in. Yes, the insights!!
I tell everyone to allow a minimum of 6 hours in most houses, that have been kept up to a decent standard. (This does not include windows in this time, allow another 1.5 at least for windows and screens to be cleaned). Many people never clean their house thoroughly so when they vacate they are very surprised at how much grime there is even in the kitchen cupboards, so be realistic with how much time you will think that you place needs to be cleaned to get your bond back. With a vacate clean every tiny mark and built up grime is removed, unless your Condition Report was filled out thoroughly by you then they will pick up every little thing, as they only put the minimum on the report and hope that the tenant does not fill it out properly. Look at the list they give you when you give notice, it is a very comprehensive list isn't it?
I DO NOT STEAM CLEAN THE CARPETS YOU NEED TO GET SOMEONE ELSE TO DO THAT MY BUSINESS IN THE DETAILS OF A PRISTINE CLEAN. I CHARGE $35 AN HOUR FOR A VACATE OR END OF LEASE CLEAN YOUR OVEN IS INCLUDED IN THIS COST. ANY PRESSURE WASHING IS ALSO NOT INCLUDED IN THAT 6 HOURS. MOST OF THE TIME WINDOWS ARE ABOVE THAT 6 HOURS, I DO NOT HAVE A HEIGHT LICENSE SO WILL NOT CLIMB A LADDER AT ALL. POWER NEEDS TO BE SUPPLIED TO THE PROPERTY.
Book me in before you book your carpets in. The carpet cleaners are there on average for 1.5 hours and I am there detailing your entire vacated property I am unable to work around the carpet guys sorry, but they can fit you in easily as there are lots of carpet cleaners in Ballarat so compete for jobs.
To save a call on a quote allow 4 - 6 hours on any vacate or end of lease clean, this does not include outside of the premises or windows they are charged extra. Please note only cleaning is done at this $40 hour rate if you need more of a remove rubbish type of vacate clean please call to discuss as a Skip may be required and the hour rate will be different.

If you know anything about how YouTube works then you know it is nearly a full-time job having a channel and you need people to SUBSCRIBE, COMMENT and LIKE your videos so that the algorithm notices your vids amongst the 400 hours a minute that gets uploaded to YouTube.
